I have owned this phone for a month now. I switched over from an iphone 15 and have been with apple for over 10 years. I can 1000% say that I am never going back to apple!

The phone is super sleek, I love how small it is when it folds up. I am easily able to fit it in my pocket or in one of my smaller purses. Even though it's thin, it has some weight to it, especially after adding a case.

It is way faster than my previous phone. There is no lag and there has been zero issues with freezing up. The camera quality is fantastic and the video recording is very crisp and steady. I love that I can also unlock it with either my fingerprint or my face.

I also love how customizable samsung is! There is so much that I can do on this one that apple is nowhere near even touching. I am constantly discovering new features that improve how I use my phone. And I love that I can actually set custom ringtones and text sounds, unlike apple lol.

I have also not had any screen issues at all. I've dropped it and slammed it shut more than I would have liked but it's still going strong! There is also a small crease where it folds of course, but it is not noticeable at all when the screen is turned on.

The only Con that I have with this phone is the battery doesn't last as long as my iphone did. I have it set to stop charging at 90% to protect the battery and I usually charge it overnight. If I don't mess with it too much during the day, the battery will definitely last. However if i play my games or watch videos for an extended period I do have to charge it 2x a day.

While there are some things I do miss about apple, mainly apple maps, I feel like my overall experience with the flip7 is way more pleasant and the OS functions way faster/better. This phone is def worth the price tag that comes with it.

Great phone lots of power, full of AI adaptation. It is pricy but if your the type that can hang onto your phone then I would recommend. If you're in the habit of dropping your phone get a cheaper one.

I've been a lifelong Samsung user. I've had their Galaxy Note, s2, s8, fold3 and now switched to the Flip 7. I loved the Fold3 but screen ended up not opening all the way and felt a bit heavy in the pockets. I needed something small and light. Amazon had a $200 gift card deal for flip 7 pre-orders, so that looked good to me. Once I got it, it's pretty good. Feels premium. The battery life is good. Durability is good so far. Time will tell if it holds up better than my fold3. I like using the smaller screen for games and browsing the web. It's also an easier way for me to view and change what I'm listening to rather than opening up the phone. Camera is good too. People get impressed when they see themselves on the selfie screen. I can't wait for the next version to make the outer screen like a regular smart phone instead of it currently relying on apps and widgets to be installed using big screen. Next version should also make the mini screen text friendly. I can send messages using it but it takes up the majority of the screen. Can't really see replies. One downside is that the connection drops. My mobile data symbol sometimes show a circle ⭕ with a line though it even when I'm in a good service area. Doesn't happen often though which is good. One of the functions I like is when I'm watching a YouTube video on the small screen, the volume up and down button get swapped, and works like it was intended. Volume down on big screen would be volume up when it's closed. I love that they thought of that. In the end, it's a great value for anyone looking for a minimal phone.

It's a great phone, I love the flip feature (obviously) and after being on iPhone for 15 years it's a welcome change and a great way to bring back memories of those old phones I had growing up that opened all kinds of weird ways and were fun. The cover screen to me isn't overly useful however, and I found myself leaving the phone open most of the time unless it was in my pocket walking around so I could actually use the phone normally when I needed. That being said though, having 90% of my usage time on the softer more delicate screen made me overly cautious with the phone all the time and I worried more about damaging the screen than I wanted to. The typing experience in the cover screen is rough and after some though I decided to swap out the flip with the fold and am absolutely loving it. Having a normal hard, full size, functional, and protected screen on the screen for normal texts or whatever makes the fold feel much more normal when closed but when I want to watch content or work on things I can open it and have so much space for multitasking and doing whatwver I want. It's a bit more than the flip, but if you are looking for a fun phone with that footprint the flip is great, just not 100% it for me as much as I was hoping it would be. It's also pretty chunky in the pocket once you get a case on it and fold it, the fold is much more manageable of a footprint overall.

Love, love, love the size. The upgrades are Great!!! Love the fact that I can call and take calls while phone is folded. I can also operate all features of the phone while folded also. Love also that the phone unfolds into a full size phone when desired!!! Can't say enough about this phone!!!! This is my second series of this phone. Great decision on my part!!!

**★☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed with Samsung's Warranty Decision**

I purchased this Galaxy Z Flip7 online on July 28, 2025 as a gift for my wife, but I didn't give it to her until October 3, 2025, so the phone wasn't even in use during those first couple of months.

After several months of normal use, the inner display suddenly went completely black, while the outer display continued to function normally. The phone had never been dropped and had no cracks, dents, or other obvious signs of physical damage.

To help protect the phone, I installed an additional screen protector on the inner display. The only visible wear was light scratches from normal use.

When I submitted the phone for warranty service, Samsung denied the warranty claim because of the scratches. What frustrated me most was that no one could explain how the scratches caused the inner display to fail. I was simply told the warranty was void due to the scratches, yet I was also informed that the technician did not determine the actual reason the inner display stopped working.

Samsung then offered to repair the phone for $270.

I understand that warranties generally don't cover accidental damage. However, if a warranty claim is denied because of scratches, customers deserve a clear technical explanation of how those scratches caused the failure. In my case, there were no cracks, no evidence of impact, and the phone still functioned through the outer display.

This experience has left me disappointed with Samsung's warranty process. I expected better support for a premium foldable device, and I hope Samsung improves both the durability of its foldable phones and the transparency of its warranty decisions.

Clarification: I made a mistake in my original post. After reviewing my Amazon purchase history, I realized I did not install an inner screen protector. I had confused it with the accessories I purchased.

The only screen protector I installed was on the outer display, along with several cross-body wallet cases. The inner screen only had Samsung's factory-installed screen protector.

I wanted to correct the record to keep my post accurate.

I decided I'll have the phone repaired and then trade it in for the Galaxy S27 Ultra for my wife when released. I personally have the S24 Ultra and have had absolutely no issues with it.

My wife loves the compact design of the Flip, but this experience has really left a sour taste. I've never had to use Samsung's warranty before. I've owned Samsung phones since the Note series and typically only upgrade every five years, once the battery starts to degrade or the phone slows down.

After this experience, I think we'll stick with what's proven. Hoping to get a great deal for the trade in hopefully.

This phone is worth every penny!

I am upgrading from a 6 year old Samsung Galaxy (non-flagship) phone and the Z Flip 7 is the upgrade I needed!

This is my first "flip" phone since my Motorola back in the 90s so this is definitely a new and exciting experience for me. I've done lots of research prior to purchasing and can confidently say I made the right choice for my first foldable!

Right out the box, everything from the look and feel, to the satisfaction you get from flipping and closing the phone; the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is pure luxury!

Functionality is premium and what you'd expect from a flagship Samsung device and the features seem never-ending.

I've been with Samsung for most of my cellular life and couldn't be more pleased to have this unlocked beaut in my possession!

This is a beautiful flip phone and I get lots of compliments on it. But I have to say that I liked the Flip 5 phone better. It was simpler to use. I can't blame the phone because it works well and it is easy to find after I put it down somewhere. But I don't like Google as I have not had it on a phone before. I also seem not to understand the Phone set up. Sometimes I get the calls and sometimes I don't so friends at times can't reach me. Sometimes it sets the tone call off by itself and I don't realize it. I think that I am not much of a phone user. The phone itself is very much quality.

Love it love it love. I am an iphone user for years and hesitant to get this but I don’t regret even a tiny bit. I am loving this phone and been using it more than my iphone now.
