This computer MUST be used on an active cooling pad or else it crashes no matter what you're doing. Not even talking about just gaming or rendering video out of DVR or anything super resource intensive.
The problem is that the laptop is so thin that it can't manage any heat whatsoever. The processor is the bottleneck here.
I've updated everything, reinstalled Windows, disabled the dedicated graphics driver - every trick in the book. Only a cooling pad solves the problem.
The error you see on my screen is an Nvidia driver, so you think, "Video card!" Uninstall those drivers and a game of musical fault codes ensues. It still keeps crashing and blaming everything from virtualization drivers to the kernal and so on.
This computer has shown me this screen no less than 200 times in the few months I've owned it. It's fine on a cooling pad, but take it off for 10-15 minutes and you're all but guaranteed a BSOD if you're doing ANYTHING at all (downloading, installing, copying, etc.).
