Thesis: As of January 2026, I firmly believe this is the best robot money can buy. This is the only roller mop robot that won’t make you feel frustrated. Let me explain.

Qualifications:

1. I have personally bought and then returned most of the robots below. If you’re looking at this review, you’ve already decided you want a roller robot. You’re just deciding which one to get.

2. I have several long-haired constantly shedding dogs and humans. My robots essentially go through stress tests every single day. The strength of the pros vastly outweighs the minor cons.

Assumptions:

1. Rollers mops are the future. They clean so much better and more reliably than spinning mops.

2. Compared to the following, this is the only roller mop robot to not have any major issues:

2a. Mova Z60 (Roller): Leaves the floors wet, poor battery life.

2b. Dreame Aqua 10 (Roller): Base leaks water.

2c. Narwal Flow (Trackmop): Extreme navigation issues with carpets and pathing.

2d. Roomba 705 Combo (Roller): App issues, poor overall performance.

2e. Ecovacs T80/X9/X11: Half-width roller mop, difficult to take apart roller system to clean.

2f. Eufy: I haven’t personally tried this one, so I’ll abstain from making a judgement.

Pros:

1. Navigation is excellent. Pathing is logical and efficient. Obstacle avoidance is good enough, recommend you set it to the careful mode.

2. Maintenance: Roller, squeegee, and dirty water tank are easy to remove and service.

3. Roller mop shield: Allows the vacuuming of carpets AFTER mopping floors without getting the carpets wet. Also allows me to keep the dock in my carpeted study out of the main area of the house, which greatly reduces the perceived noise of the dock operations. Also, the timing of the shield deployment is prompt, unlike the Roomba 705 combo which has a bit of a lag.

4. Roller mop: if you’re reading this you already know the advantages of a roller mop vs spinning mops.

5. Price: In addition to being objectively superior to all roller mop competitors, it is cheaper than everyone except some of the budget Eufy and Ecovacs models.

6. Two side brushes: I think that having an off-wall side brush makes a big difference in the performance when vacuuming long pet hair.

Cons:

1. Dock noise: The hot air mop drying fan is a bit louder than other brands. Not too terrible though. Just not as good as Narwal’s dock fans which are basically silent.

2. Height: This robot is tall, and doesn’t have a retractable lidar. This limits it from going under my end tables which most other robots can.

3. Lack of mop-only mode: Aside from spot cleaning, you must vacuum either before or during mopping.

3a. This isn’t a huge issue because you should be doing this anyway. Currently, robot vacuum roller mops are NOT the same as upright wet-dry vacuums, despite what the French Glow says. The lack of suction on these roller mops basically makes them a Shark Hydroduo, which doesn’t process dry debris and hairs well. Roborock forcing you to vacuum prevents this from happening.

4. No auto-detergent dispenser: A definite miss. You must add detergent directly to the clean water tank.

5. No hot-water mopping: unlike the Roomba 705 combo and the Narwal Flow which both use warm water to mop, this Roborock only uses room-temperature water while mopping.

6. No extendable side-brush: Doesn’t reach into corners that well. The side brushes do raise themselves however.

7. No threshold crossing: this model doesn’t have chassis-lift or the ability to go up cliffs.

Conclusion: While this is still limited by cost-cutting design decisions and limitations by bring a first-gen roller mop robot, the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is the only roller mop robot as of January 2026 that delivers the holy trinity of exceptional performance, comparatively low price tag, and a user experience that won’t make you want to tear your hair out. While I have listed an equal number of pros and cons, the pros are major and the cons are minor. Let me be clear: I love this robot.

This is the robot I plan to use for the next 4 years while I wait for the roller mop technology to mature. I’ll be skipping the gen-2 and gen-3 roller mop robots because this one is simply that good.

This robot far far exceeded my expectations. I spent a few hours browsing online the top ten lists on various websites. A couple of the robot Hoover’s seemed to keep coming up. But I couldn’t really figure out how they were different from each other and felt uncomfortable in my decision making process. Then comes my husband and ‘Reddit.’ He read various threads on Reddit and tells me about Xiaomi Roborock. I am shocked and extremely sceptical because from all my browsing I have never heard of this brand! However when I do some of my own research on this brand it turns out to have all the same feature and as a plus it has this ‘mopping’ feature for what seems to be less of a cost compared to other brands. I get a lot of great information from their website and then I see a couple of excellent video reviews on it like this one:

That really tips me over the edge since I now feel comfortable with knowing a lot about this vacuum. The video reviews do a great job and are not just a marketing hype like for the other vacuums. The Reddit posts are also very convincing. As a plus it also seems smarter with the mapping function on the phone. I’m even more surprised at this point that I had not heard of it earlier and that it did not come up at the top in my original search on Amazon. ( it is highly rated like the other vacuums after all) Si I go with my gut feeling on this one and agree with my husband to buy it.

Ok so I can’t compare to other vacuums because this is our first robot vacuum. But oh my oh my it so so good! It has now made my weekly floor mopping obsolete. The moppping feature works great, and I add some essential oils of lemon to the water tank which smells so fresh at the end. I was really just buying the vacuum to keep up with all the crumbs the kids make on a daily basis. I had no idea that it would do such a great mopping job and be able to completely replace me. The floor has a polished look afterwards.

I also tested it out in our rabbits which the results of you can see in the video attached. It does a great job at not messing with the rabbits ) so I feel safe leaving it working while we are out of the house.

As a bonus not expected it is also getting everyone in the house into the great habit of picking everything up of of the floor just so we can have the robot do our floor cleaning. The motivating factor is working! So now strong dirty habits are changing also.

I love the mapping feature since you can get a good idea of where your robot is going and if there are any blind spots. It also tells you how long it takes to do each job.

The water lasts enough to be able to do about 1000sq feet of our floor in the mopping mode. The carpets actually look hoovered after the robot is done.

In conclusion I’m super glad that I chose this vacuum even though I had not heard of it even on sources like consumer reports.

We were introduced to Roborock back in January 2026 and we’ve had two so far. We started with, I forget what it was but it was the $549 one and it worked extremely well. I was very impressed, but within a month, the LiDar had broken all by itself. So we returned it to Amazon, but I was so impressed with it that I decided to use the Amazon gift card that I was receiving from that model and upgrade and get the curve 2. Fast-forward to this past month and I was even more impressed with this machine. We have two dogs who leave hair all over the house, but we clean it daily so it’s not too bad. So this machine worked wonderfully, but after using daily for three weeks I noticed a huge puddle over by the base and then really really wet streaks following the robot. Like the machine was releasing way too much water. I decided to contact Roborock thinking that this might not be too bad of a fix maybe cleaning the base or checking the robot or something, but after they had me, send them the diagnostics from the app for this machine, they said “oh we want you to send it back.” so now I’m back without any help cleaning the house like I said these machines are excellent when they don’t break, I’m not sure if I just got unlucky or if Roborock has got some R&D they need to do.

Purchased because a friend with 2 dogs raved about it. We also have two dogs and felt our wood floors were never really clean. We’ve had it for about 8 weeks and our floors are now literally sparkling clean. The maintenance takes a bit of time but it’s not difficult. Youtube has awesome videos to walk you through it all. The app is fantastic for setting up cleaning schedules and making adjustments for amount of water, cleaning direction, cleaning specific rooms etc. I highly recommend this product. My only suggestion is to use 1 capful of the solution, not 2-1/2 as the bottle suggests. I had lots of soap bubbles on my floors the first 2-3 times I ran it. Not sure if it was just soap in the new mop or that I put in too much soap so just be aware. I now just add 1 capful and don’t have the issue anymore.

I went from a Mova Z60, which I gave to a friend, to this roborock curv flow 2. I had a Roborock curvx before, and I knew the Roborock app was better than Mova (which it is). The Mova might mop slightly better than Roborock - but both are incredible/amazing. Neither one gets right up next to what it's mopping all the time, but I think Roborock does better. My impression is that Roborock vacuum is better, but I can't prove that scientifically :)

Basically - for all practical purposes, both are amazing, both keep the floors squeaky clean, and the Roborock is probably more efficient and with a substantially better app. I like the Roborock slightly more. Had it for a few weeks, no issues at all so far. My older Roborocks never had issues (nor did the mova)

I'm very impressed with the cleaning capabilities and navigation of this robot vacuum. The customization of the cleaning routines within the app are great, and integration with Home Assistant is almost great. The vacuum power is strong and I can set it to ramp up higher when it goes on my rugs. The mopping is also working really well on my wood floors since I can adjust the water level to not fully soak them. My wife was skeptical this would work as good as it does, but now she's telling everyone about it. The price was well worth it and saves hours per week of cleaning all my floors.

I bought this unit in February 2026 and waited 2 months to write the review to give myself time to learn the different features. As a reference, I have owned 5 different Roomba's and 1 Braava. I decided to make the change when iRobot stopped keeping up with the technological advances. I chose the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow because of the roller mop (did not want swirl streaks) and the anti tangle dual brush. I have mostly hardwood floors and tile with area rugs. I have 3 cats and the Roomba was constantly tangled and I'd have to physically remove the hair to get it to function. I have yet to have to do it with this unit. The mopping is amazing! Instead of pushing the dirt around and making the floors sticky like the Braava, they come out spotless! There was a learning curve on how to get streak free floors. I use a Zero Water pitcher to filter the water with their recommended brand solution at the correct dilution AND I make sure the mop returns to get self cleaned on a timed basis. I also make sure I vacuum BEFORE mopping to remove and dirt that could lead to streaks. The roller mop DOES extend to the wall. Does it miss a corner? Maybe. But so would I when I hand mopped. Honestly, I couldn't mop the floors better myself. It's SUPER quiet! Unlike the Roomba which would wake the dead, I can mop and vacuum and still watch TV in the same room. Navigation is good. It takes time for it to learn. But it doesn't aggressively hit walls and furniture like the Roomba does. I always try to scan to the room for objects or poop or vomit before sending it out. One Roomba poop smearing moment in your life is scarring and memorable enough. I hope the next version has the robotic arm and the higher grade navigation program. The unit is tall but I didn't have an issue of it getting under the furniture it is supposed to. It struggles sometimes to get onto my rug. It has to do a running jump to push itself over. I hope they the next model resolves the threshold issue. The docking unit is easy to maintain. I like that the filter is washable and the dust bag is large enough that it doesn't have to be changed frequently. Replacement parts aren't that expensive and there aren't many that are necessary. I don't mind the maintenance because it saves me so much time overall. The app is user friendly but there are a TON of options so you have to take the time to really look through it and experiment with routines that work for your household. There's no price for extra time for me so this is a price point perfect model. I'm planning on buying a second unit for the second level. It's capable of multiple maps to accommodate multiple floors, but I don't want to lug everything up and down the stairs everyday. I can't attest to durability but maintenance is a key to longevity of any household item. So I think I can emphatically say: I absolutely, positively love it!

I've only had this one day, so I may update more later. I bought this to replace a 5 year old Roomba 650 that has done a commendable job and been reliable and durable. The Roborock S5 is quieter, smarter, and faster. It also seems quite well made and durable. It has everything I wanted in a new vacuum: no-go zones, zone cleaning, virtual barriers, straight line "z" or zigzag cleaning, and manual controls, which would have run about double from any competitor and has mopping as a bonus. The lidar is mostly accurate. It hasn't gotten stuck, it's about 1/3 the noise of the Roomba. I only wish it had a sensor and notification to let you know when the dustbin is full, otherwise it is mostly autonomous and doesn't require intervention. I had several issues with the mapping initially. I reset the vacuum to factory defaults (by pressing the "recharge" or plug icon button and the reset pin next to the wifi indicator light under the cover a few seconds, until the vacuum gave a verbal notification of reset). After the factory reset, it was having trouble being recognized by the app and so I followed the app prompts to hold the "spot cleaning" and "recharge" buttons on either side of the clean button on the top of the vacuum. That worked. It then did a firmware upgrade that took about 10 minutes. It worked very well after that and, while I cannot think of a good reason for this, the mapping function appeared to work better and created an impressively accurate map of my house and its various cabinets and furniture hazards. I am including photos showing the map and stats at the end of its first post-reset cleaning cycle and also of the no-go and virtual barrier screens, and the remote controls. I was concerned that it would have trouble getting over the wooden threshold covers that we installed because some rooms' floors are slightly taller than others, due to adding a layer of plywood, but it has had no real problems. It struggles a bit, but works it out within a few seconds. It has gone over small rugs, a bath rug, and our heavy duty mat at or patio door without incident. I thought for sure the bath mat would foil it. I did have to pick up some cords that it gagged on, but they shouldn't have been laying around anyway. I purchased this after extensive investigation into the available options and I would recommend it to my friends.

Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow é, simplesmente, o melhor robô aspirador que já adquiri. Cumpre o seu papel perfeitamente. No nível médio de aspiração já faz um bom trabalho removendo pelos de gatos sem causar emaranhamento. A limpeza do chão com a mop também é bem eficiente e tira bastante sujeira. Mas vale ressaltar que esse tipo de aparelho é um quebra galho e ajuda bastante, mas a limpeza final de um piso como porcelanato brilhante cabe a nós mesmos. O app é o melhor que já conheci, mas antes de registrar o modelo é necessário mudar a região para um país onde o Curv 2 Flow foi oficialmente lançado, pois se registrar como Brasil, o app não encontra o modelo. Basta uma pesquisa na internet para ver como proceder, é fácil demais. A manutenção, principalmente para que faz a limpeza com a mop, é necessária para evitar problemas futuros como sensores sujos, etc. Mas é rápida e simples. O robô vale cada centavo!

Dopo anni di utilizzo con il mio vecchio Roborock (versione Xiaomi S2 del 2018), ho deciso di fare un upgrade con questo nuovo Qrevo Curv S5X, e posso dire senza esitazione che il salto di qualità è notevole.

Dalla prima apertura della scatola all'avvio della prima pulizia è passato meno di un’ora. L’app Roborock è migliorata tantissimo negli anni: la configurazione della rete Wi-Fi, l’aggancio alla base e la connessione con l’app sono andati lisci come l’olio. Non serve essere esperti.

Sono rimasto impressionato dalla velocità con cui ha costruito la prima mappa di casa. In un’unica passata ha rilevato tutte le stanze, identificando correttamente gli ambienti e differenziando pavimenti e tappeti. È anche possibile suddividere o rinominare le stanze in un attimo.

Venendo da un modello del 2018, una delle prime cose che ho notato è la silenziosità. Anche alla potenza standard, l’aspirazione è efficiente e molto meno rumorosa rispetto al mio vecchio S2. Finalmente posso farlo partire anche la sera senza fastidio.

La base di svuotamento e lavaggio è ben progettata. Tutti i serbatoi (acqua pulita, sporca, contenitore polvere) sono facilmente accessibili senza dover smontare mezza stazione. I filtri si estraggono in pochi secondi per la manutenzione periodica.

Uno degli aspetti che apprezzo di più è la possibilità di personalizzare quasi ogni dettaglio: Intensità di aspirazione e lavaggio stanza per stanza, programmazione settimanale avanzata, impostazione di zone no-go/no-mop, pulizia mirata per singole stanze o aree specifiche, regolazione automatica della forza in base al tipo di pavimento o presenza di tappeti

Il Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X (nome difficilissimo da ricordare...) è consigliatissimo!

I've owned a handful of Robot Vacuums over the years, most recently an Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni. It's on my main floor (1400 sq ft) where it's all hardwood and tile this has been the lowest maintenance robot I've ever owned. It runs 7 days a week and I've completed 78 cleanings so far and it hasn't needed me to intervene even once.

Cons: It doesn't have an extending side brush, it's on the taller side for robot vacuums and I find myself emptying and refilling the water every other day. It doesn't have a mop only setting in the app and you have to run it in either vacuum only or vacuum and mop.

Pros: Maintenance is easy, so much easier than the previous X9 Pro Omni, floors are so clean that I can use a wet paper towel anywhere on my floor and it comes out spotless, navigation is great, obstacle avoidance is good and in general the robot is hassle free. One of the quieter robots I've had, I set it to run at 10pm and when I come down in the morning it's all clean and it's back at its dock fully charged.
