The India × Japan DeepTech & AI Venture Challenge 2026 is a one-day venture challenge in Tokyo connecting Japanese technology founders with Indian engineering teams. 15 Japanese founders building in AI, biotechnology, robotics, medical technology, and enterprise automation are selected for a Demo Day. The grand prize winner receives $30,000 in engineering credits: a dedicated team of 4-6 engineers building their product for 10-12 weeks with full code ownership. All selected founders receive development at 50% off, strategic review sessions, and direct investor pitch access. The program is bilingual (English and Japanese) and highlights the growing India-Japan technology collaboration. The engineering team behind the program has shipped four products in Japan, including a healthcare AI platform for an Alfresa Holdings partner and a medical detection tool validated at Mayo Clinic.
